The Costa del Sol

A luxury destination on the shores
of the Mediterranean

The Costa del Sol welcomes over two million visitors a year who land at Málaga International Airport and head to one of the many destinations strung along this sun-drenched coastline, from Gibraltar in the west to Nerja in the east. The best-known areas lie west of Málaga, beginning with Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola and Mijas Costa. Further along you'll find Marbella, with its famous Puerto Banús marina, then Estepona, Sotogrande, and finally the iconic hilltop city of Ronda in the interior.

With an average annual temperature of 18 °C and more than 300 days of sunshine per year, the Costa del Sol is far more than a holiday destination — it is a place where you can truly live well. Sailing, diving, golf (with over 70 courses), horse riding and dolphin-watching excursions sit alongside world-class dining and culture. Cities such as Seville, Córdoba, Granada and Ronda are within easy reach, and Morocco is just 15 km away across the Strait of Gibraltar.
