Cabopino is located at the very edge of the Marbella area, on the border to Mijas Costa. The Cabopino area is mainly known for its quaint little harbour and village, known as "Puerto Cabopino", with arguably the best stretch of beach on the Costa del Sol (watch out for the neighbouring nudist beach!) surrounded by sand dunes.
